After having more than $13,000 worth of tools stolen from my shop last summer and realizing I had little chance of getting much recovered, I still had visions of the culprits being caught.
Well, officers from Provo, Pleasant Grove and Orem police departments and the Utah County sheriff's office formed a task force and did the deed. Speaking as a victim, there is a tremendous satisfaction in getting a couple of my tools back. But more than that, one of the culprits has pleaded guilty. The officers involved have done a difficult job well, and I for one want to let them know how good their efforts have made me feel. They say they're going to continue. Fantastic! Keep up the good work.I know the cops don't get too many thanks. I guess that kind of goes with the job, but here's my thanks.
