The Provo Library Children's Department will hold a special American Tea Preparation class Thursday, May 18, from 7 to 8 p.m. in the library auditorium.

The class will cover a discussion of the American girl books on "Molly" by Valerie Tripp. Also included is a lecture on the 1940s, with memorabilia, games, food and songs to sing along with the accordion."The girls will also receive instructions on tea manners, in preparation for the American Tea, held June 3, at the Provo Park Hotel," said Carla Morris, children's librarian.

This is also an appropriate time to purchase tickets to the tea, which are $10 each. All girls 6 years and older are invited to attend the tea preparation class, which is free.
