Members of Impact Institute's current graduating class donated more than $8,000 worth of cash and materials Friday to 1st Way.
1st Way, formerly known as Birthright, has for 20 years provided services to pregnant women. The services range from pregnancy testing to help obtaining medical care, loan of maternity clothing and other supplies and help finding finances to cover the costs of a birth.Impact offers personal effectiveness training. Each graduating group has a "lift-off" and chooses community service activity. Lift-off 85 collected maternity clothing, baby clothing, formula, toys, diapers, child safety seats and money for the organization. Part of the donation came from sister Impact groups in Colorado, Idaho and Washington.
