A rollover on I-15 near Cedar City Thursday killed a St. George woman and her passenger's 2-year-old daughter.

Killed were:Stanalie Sharwan Smith, 24, St. George.

Shilo Shurtliff, 2, Gunlock, Washington County.

The toddler's mother, 25-year-old Stacie Gail Shurtliff, also of Gunlock, was transported to Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City. She was later transferred to LDS Hospital, where she remained in fair condition Friday.

Smith and Stacie Gail Shurtliff are the daughters of Hyrum Smith, chairman of the board for Franklin Quest Co.

The group was traveling south on I-15 at 3:50 p.m. when Smith's 1994 Honda four-wheel-drive vehicle veered off the road to the left. She attempted to correct its path and the vehicle rolled five times, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

Shilo Shurtliff slipped out of a seat belt and was ejected.
