EquiWest has started the construction of another phase of the Layton Crossing Shopping Center on the northwest corner of Main Street and South Hill Field Road. It is scheduled for completion in March 1996.
Phase three will include buildings leased to The Musicland Group for a 44,400 square-foot Media Play store; OfficeMax for a 23,500 square-foot store; and United Furniture for a 21,600 square-foot store.The first phase was completed in February and contains a 35,000 square-foot Homelife store, a 7,500 square-foot Kinko's and a Kenny Rogers Roasters Restaurant.
Phase two was construction of two buildings that have been leased to Godfather's Pizza, Bike Line, The Hi Fi Shop, Greywhale CD Exchange, Soccer International, Brackman Bros. Bagels and Casual Male Big & Tall Store.
