We bid a fond farewell to our loving mother and grandmother, Betty Jane Slye Mason, age 74, who died June 29, 1995 in Salt Lake City.
Born January 27, 1921 in Richfield, Utah to Calvin James and Millie Jane Ross Slye. Married Laun H. Mason on August 8, 1939, Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on May 24, 1992.She was an active member, LDS Church, having served in many and varied positions, including Ward choir, Relief Society, temple worker, and her favorite, the Blazer Scouts.
Survived by four sons, Richard L.; P. Michael (LeAnn); David L. (Connie); and Timothy J. (Barbara); all Salt Lake City; and 13 grandchildren.
Funeral services Monday, July 3rd, at 11 a.m., Parkview Ward Chapel, 2300 East 9800 South. Friends may call at the Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South, Sunday evening 6-8 p.m., and at the ward on Monday, 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery.
