Frank Nobilo of New Zealand was runner-up at 136 after a second-round 69. Eoghan O'Connell of Ireland, who shot a 65, and Jarmo Sandelin of Sweden, with a 69, were tied for third at 137.
Lyle was not informed until after his record-tying round that he had signed his scorecard verifying he had a four on the 14th hole in Thursday's first round, one stroke less than he actually shot.
