The Color Me Human conference teams up with Worldfest to celebrate and recognize the diverse cultures of the world this weekend. The fest is Sunday, July 2, at the Gallivan Utah Center.

Featured will be live international ethnic music and dance, a world art market, food booths and games. The program will feature performing as well as visual arts. Participants will be able to learn folk dances, Persian calligraphy and Latin rhythms.Performers at the fest include Red Grammer, local rapper Victor Rothaar, International Dance Theater, Salzburger Echo, Mike Johnson and percussionist George Grant.

Color Me Human is sponsored by the Institute for the Healing of Racism. Its goal is to help raise a generation free of prejudice.

Worldfest gives artists who specialize in art of other cultures a chance to display their talents as a means of encouraging respect for other world traditions.
