Josephine Marie Hansen Johansen died peacefully at home July 14, 1995, after an extended illness.
She was born August 28, 1908, in South Jordan, Utah to Henry E. and Margrethe Lund Hansen. Marie married Albert C. Johansen on June 24, 1933, in the Mount Tabor Lutheran Church in Salt Lake City. Marie taught music and piano in Salt Lake City and Bountiful for over 50 years. She gave the gift of music to many who would not otherwise have afforded it.She is survived by her husband and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
At her request, there will be no funeral services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity. Funeral directors, Neil O'Donnell & Sons Mortuary.
