An 18-year-old Price man was in satisfactory condition Thursday after he rolled his 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix early Wednesday morning about 26 miles up Spanish Fork Canyon.
Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Carlos Reed said John Scott Davis was westbound near the Tucker rest area when his car went off the right shoulder at 4:50 a.m. Davis overcorrected to the left, crossed three lanes and spun 180 degrees."He went off the south shoulder of the road, off a 30- to 40-foot embankment," Reed said. The car came to rest in a creek.
Davis had to be extricated from the vehicle, Reed said. He was transported to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center for head injuries.
