In addition to the auditions on Aug. 22-23 for "Les Miserables" (see separate story in this section), auditions have also been scheduled for Salt Lake Acting Company's upcoming regional premieres of Tony Kush-ner's "Angels in America" and Edward Albee's "Three Tall Women" and for the annual Haunted Woods at Wheeler Historic Farm.

- "THREE TALL WOMEN," being directed by Tony Larimer, is scheduled to run Oct. 11-Nov. 5. One role remains to be cast - a woman in her mid-20s who is, in fact, fairly tall. Auditioners will be asked to read from the script. Please bring a current resume and photograph.Call the theater at 363-0526 to arrange an appointment. The auditions will be held Saturday, Sept. 2, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Gail Hickman and Anne Cullimore Decker have been precast in the show's other roles.

- "ANGELS IN AMERICA," PARTS ONE AND TWO, on Sept. 5 from 5 to 9 p.m. and on Sept. 6 from noon to 5 p.m. at SLAC, 168 W. 500 North.

All roles are open with the exception of Roy Cohn. Come with a prepared piece of three minutes or less, either from Kushner's script or another play of your own choice. A current resume and photograph are also required.

Part One will be staged Nov. 29-Jan. 21, and Part Two will be mounted March 6-April 28.

Allen Nevins and Nancy Borgenicht will codirect both segments. It is expected that the same casts will be in both parts.

- HAUNTED WOODS on Saturday, Aug. 19, from noon to 4 p.m. at Wheeler Historic Farm, 6351 S. 900 East, featuring a new script for 1995 and being directed by Dmitry Raskin, an internationally known puppeteer and performer.

This season's production requires 65 performers. The show will run Mondays-Saturdays, Sept. 28-Oct. 31.

All players will be considered Salt Lake County employees and will receive training in role-playing.

Please come prepared for both the audition and an employment interview. Auditioners will be asked to read from the script. Bring a current resume and such employment application information as a driver's license and Social Security card.

In addition to actors, Raskin is seeking interested puppeteers, jugglers, dancers and special effects operators.
