Brad Pearce, director of tennis at the Snowbird Canyon Racquet Club, will join his teammates, among them Martina Navratilova, to play in the semifinals of the World Team Tennis Championships on Saturday.
Pearce is a member of the New Jersey Stars. Other members are Navratilova, Richard Matuszewski (Florida) and Mariaan de Swardt (South Africa). On Sunday, the team won the Eastern Division Championships.The match Saturday will be against the New York OTB's. A win would put them into the finals on Sunday. The finals will be televised on ESPN.
Pearce, a native of Provo, took over management of the tennis club this summer.
