At 991/2, George Burns is slowing down. The comedian has scaled back plans for performances marking his 100th birthday on Jan. 20.
"We just felt it was too tough, at his age, to play five days in Las Vegas, then go to Tahoe, then to Atlantic City," Burns' longtime manager, Irving Fein, said Thursday.Burns still plans to perform at Caesars Palace from Jan. 17-21, but is dropping plans for subsequent performances.
"He isn't what he was a year and a half ago," Fein said.
