DEATH: SHEILA KAYLEEN JOHN SCALES

Sheila Kayleen Jones Scales, 40, died Aug. 7, 1995, at her home in Upton.

Born August 19, 1954, in Coalville, Utah to Wayne Allen and Kay Simister Jones. Graduated from North Summit High School in 1972 and then attended Dixie College in St. George, Utah. She married Keith Rees, later divorced. Married Carl Scales, May 4, 1995. Member of the LDS Church. Attendant to Miss Summit County, member of the North Summit Band, certified Nurse's Aide. She loved animals, being outdoors, was an avid gardener and could make "the desert bloom". She was alwyas there to help someone in need.Surviving are two sons, Jared Rees, Coalville; Nash Jones, Upton; parents, Upton; four brothers, Michael and Maryann, Upton; Scott and Jill, Evanston, Wyo.; Todd and Cindy, Neola, Utah; and Wade and April, Henefer, Utah; six nephews, Zachary, Landry, Wesley Brandyn, Trevyn and Chandler; four nieces, Kaycee, Shaynell, Trish and Kristin, each very special to Aunt Kayleen; grandmother, Mabel C. Jones, Upton; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Allen Jones and Wilford Simister, grandmother, Erva S. Whitcomb, and Uncle, Jay Simister.

Kayleen will be truly missed by all those who loved her, family and friends, whom she left behind, but will be welcomed joyfully by those who preceded her. Go in peace, dear daughter, mother, sister, aunt, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 12, 1995, at 12 noon, in the Upton Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary in Coalville, Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Interment, Upton Cemetery.
