Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor has stowed his fix-it gear for a Traverse City, Mich., vacation.
Tim Allen and the rest of the "Home Improvement" cast are filming an episode in the area.Allen, who plays the host of a cable tool show, said he decided to bring the ABC series to Michigan because he has a home in Leelanau County.
"It's someplace that you don't see on TV very much," he said.
Taylor, Allen's character, decides to squeeze in a family vacation when his wife Jill (Pat-ricia Richardson) is invited to a cousin's wedding in northwest Lower Michigan.
