Roger B. Anderson, Davis County's emergency services manager, is one of 61 candidates certified by the National Coordinating Council on Emergency Management's certification commission. Anderson is with the Davis County Sheriff's Department.

NCCEM has more than 1,500 emergency managers from local, state and the federal government, as well as private industry and the military. Candidates are certified based on experience, references, education, training and contributions to the profession.The certification program was developed over several years.
