DEATH: BESSIE ELINOR TAYLOR

Bessie Elinor Taylor, 10 days shy of 106, passed away August 9, 1995 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was born August 19, 1889 in Kaysville, Utah to George Hamilton Taylor and Lois Louisa Foote Taylor. She married Frank Campbell Taylor September 22, 1911 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Affectionately known as "Nana," Bessie Taylor was devoted to her family and continued to serve them as long as she was able. She loved life and lived fully.

She was a hard worker whose positive attitude and sense of humor contributed to her remarkable longevity and blessed all the lives of those who knew her. She was loved and respected for her wisdom and good judgment. She was known for her indominitable spirit, self reliance and resourcefulness. She was faithful member of the LDS Church and served in many callings. We all loved her.

She is survived by three daughters and one son, Virginia (Henry D.) Bradford; June (Robert D.) Matheson; Beverley (James L.) Sorenson; Robert C. (Kathy) Taylor; 29 grandchildren; 99 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank C. Taylor, her son, Joseph Frank Taylor, and daughter, Helen Marie Taylor Johannesen.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 14th, at 12 noon, in the Monument Park Third Ward, 2215 E. Roosevelt Ave. (1500 So.). Friends are invited to call Sunday, August 13th, 7-9 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 South 200 East, and 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. prior to services at the Monument Park Third Ward. Interment will be at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
