DEATH: REED L. ROBINS

Reed L. Robins, 73, passed away August 10, 1995 at his home of cancer.

He was born July 2, 1922 in Layton, Utah, a son of Melvin D. and Myrtle Love Robins.He married Marjorie B. Hill April 10, 1942 in Evanston, Wyoming. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. She passed away June 15, 1980. He married Maurine B. Tolman December 23, 1981 in Clearfield.

Reed lived in Layton, Utah all of his life. He graduated from Davis High School in 1941. He was a member of the Layton 7th LDS Ward. He was a volunteer fireman and ambulance driver for many years. He worked for Davis County School District as a bus driver for 37 years, and was a farmer all his life. His real love was farming. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II until March 30, 1946.

Surviving are his wife of Layton; one son, Reed Gordon Robins, Ogden; three stepsons, J.D. Tolman, Clinton; Bill (Margo) Tolman, Clearfield; Rick (Patty) Tolman, Clinton; three daughters, Judi Hutchison (Don), Layton; Gay Myers (Keith) Layton; Renon Park (Ardell), Syracuse; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Noel Robins (Ruth), St. George. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Rex L. Robins; wife; one grandson, Curtis P. Johnson.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, August 14, 1995 at the Layton Antelope Drive LDS Chapel, 590 West 2000 North. Friends may call Sunday, 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1074 North Fairfield Road, and at the church on Monday, 9:30-10:45 a.m.

Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
