DEATH: A. BENNETT CAMERON

A. Bennett Cameron, 75, passed away August 11, 1995 in Hurricane, Utah.

Born November 30, 1919 in Delta, Utah, son of Alec Henry and Rachel Bennett Cameron. Married Venna Sorensen, December 21, 1940 in Salt Lake City; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Served in the Air Force and was a disabled veteran. Member of the LDS Church, where he served many years as a Scout Master, Explorer and Cub leader. He retired from Winder Dairy and later worked as a carpenter. Moved to Hurricane in 1986.Survived by wife, Venna, Hurricane; daughter, Sherrie (Darrell) Carlson, Seattle, Washington; sons, Raymond (Marilyn) Cameron, Clearfield; Scott (Roberta) Cameron, Hurricane; eight grandchildren; sisters, Millie Norton, Calif.; Glenna Moffat, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by son, Mark.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 12 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 So. Redwood Road. Friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m. at Spillsbury Desert Rose Memorial Chapel, 525 West State Street, Hurricane, Utah and Wednesday at McDougal Funeral Home, 11 a.m.-12 noon. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
