Reliever Mike Misuraca gave up just three hits over the final six and one-third innings to help Salt Lake edge Albuquerque 8-7.
The Buzz trailed 6-4 when Misuraca came in for starter Marc Barcelo in the third inning Tuesday night. Salt Lake added a run in the fourth on a single by Denny Hocking and a triple by Mitch Simons. The Buzz closed out its scoring with three runs in the sixth on four hits and two Duke errors.Riccardo Ingram and Tom Quinlan each had RBI singles in that inning, while what turned out to be the winning run scored when Dukes second baseman Eddie Pye dropped a routine popup.
Reggie Williams hit his fourth homer of the year in the ninth, getting the Dukes within a run, but Pye and Karim Garcia flied out to end the game.
Albuquerque starter Omar Daal (2-3) struck out eight but surrendered 12 hits before departing in the sixth.
