MADONNA STALKER TO STAND TRIAL FOR INVADING MANSION

The intruder who was shot at Madonna's mansion while insisting he was her husband has been ordered to stand trial.

Madonna didn't testify during a two-hour preliminary hearing Tuesday in Los Angeles for Robert Dewey Hoskins, but she will testify at his trial, said Deputy District Attorney Rhonda Saun-ders.Municipal Court Judge Thomas L. Wilhite Jr. ordered Hoskins held on $150,000 bail until his Aug. 29 arraignment. Hoskins pleaded not guilty on June 1 to felony stalking, three felony counts of making terrorist threats and one misdemeanor count of assault.

Hoskins, 37, was shot in the arm and hip May 29 after leaping a fence at Madonna's Hollywood Hills estate and lunging for a guard's gun, police said.
