Evelyn Smith Larson, age 66, of Lehi, died August 15, 1995 at Strawberry Valley, Utah.
She was born Nov. 10, 1928 in Pleasant Grove, Utah to Samuel Burton and LaRue Smith. Married Rex N. Larson, April 2, 1947 in Pleasant Grove. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.She was a partner with her husband in their family mink ranch. She loved the outdoors and she loved all kinds of handiwork, especially her quilts. She was a very good seamstress and sewed for other people often. She served in the LDS Church as Primary president, Relief Society president, Mutual president, and stake Mutual president.
She always had time to help everyone!
Survivors include her husband, of Lehi; sons and daughters, Lynn R. (Diane) Larson, Lloyd E. Larson and Neila Jean (Steven) Peterson, all of Lehi; Janet (Robert) Jenkins, Provo; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Daniel M. Smith, Salt Lake City; Dr. Edgar A. Smith, Aurora, Colo. Preceded in death by her parents and brothers, LeRoy W. and Samuel H. Smith.
Funeral Saturday, August 19, 1995 at 11 a.m. in the Lehi, Utah LDS Stake Center, 200 No. Center St. Friends may call Friday evening at the Wing Mortuary, Lehi, 7-9 p.m. and at the church Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in the Lehi City Cemetery.
