Food preservation techniques from 1917 will be the theme of the next event at Utah State University's Jensen Living Historical Farm.
Staff members and volunteers will "put up" a variety of fruits and vegetables during the Saturday, Aug. 19, event. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.Workers at the farm will use historical methods to preserve a number of foods that are common to Utah.
The Jensen Living Historical Farm is located six miles southwest of Logan on U.S. 89-91 and is operated by Utah State University.
