The city will celebrate its 145th birthday Saturday with a community fair called the Timpanogos Rendezvous.
Festivities begin at 7 a.m. with a flag ceremony and Lions Club breakfast in the downtown city park. Games, activities and displays are planned for the entire day. A program honoring the city's World War II veterans is scheduled for 4 p.m. in the park.The recreation center will host arts-and-crafts and flower shows. Area mountain men and American Indians dancers will gather at the downtown museum grounds. A classic car show during the day and a truck-and-tractor pull will be held at the city rodeo grounds.
