Thomas (Tom) Roger Anderson, age 59, died August 18, 1995 at his home.

He was born September 6, 1935 in Mutual, Utah, the son of Lorenzo James and Pearl Sadlier Anderson. Married Iretta Grace Curtis, August 8, 1955 in Latuda, Utah. Member of the LDS Church. Graduated from Carbon High School and later attended Carbon College. Served in the U.S. Army.Tom was an accountant with Miner's Trading and Kaiser Steel Corp. He was elected to the Sunnyside City Council, where he served as City Recorder for 25 years with dedicated service. A very active booster of youth activities in East Carbon, he was a Little League coach, East Carbon Booster Club and many other civic and youth activities. He was past president of East Carbon Kiwanis Club. An avid golfer, he was instrumental in developing the Sunnyside Municipal Golf Course. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.

Survived by wife, Iretta Anderson, Sunnyside; father, Lorenzo James Anderson, Price; four daughters and their spouses: Rebecca and Bill Jackson, Sunnyside; Sharon and Ray Cooper, Sandy; Mary Jo and Glen Webb, Cedar City; Carol and Terry Johnson, Sunnyside; brother and spouse, Ken and Joyce Anderson, Richland, Wash.; sister-in-law, Carol Anderson, Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services, Tuesday, August 22, 1995, 11 a.m., Wellington LDS Stake Center, 935 East Main St. Family will be at Mitchell's Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. and at the church Tuesday one hour prior to service. Interment, Price City Cemetery.
