Five people, including a toddler, are dead after a series of unrelated traffic accidents Thursday and Saturday.

Killed were:Seth Robbins, 2, Salt Lake.

Christy Hulce, 19, Tremonton.

Martin Romero, 24.

Justino Florez, 27.

Purfio Zunacade-Leon, 24.

The three men died in a rollover on I-15 near 400 North about 4:30 p.m. Saturday, said a Utah Highway Patrol spokesman. Two other men who were riding in the car were hospitalized at University Medical Center. They were identified as the driver, Esrin Zunacade-Leon, 30, in critical condition, and Barona Maxinilliano, 19, in serious condition.

The men, whose addresses were unavailable, were riding in a northbound four-door sedan in the middle lane when it apparently drifted to the right, said Sgt. Dennis Bringhurst.

The car swerved left across three lanes after the driver overcorrected and slammed into the cement median barrier, said Bringhurst. Upon impact, the car became airborne and rolled about 100 yards down the left emergency lane, ejecting one of the men and trapping the other four inside.

The two survivors were extricated, said Bringhurst. One was flown to University Medical Center while the other was transported to the same hospital by ambulance.

The other three were pronounced dead at the scene. Rescue workers found two of the men pinned between the front seat and windshield while the other was found outside the car.

Bringhurst said none of the men was wearing a seat belt, and alcohol was involved. UHP closed northbound traffic for about an hour, said Bringhurst. Southbound traffic was funneled to two lanes.

- Robbins died at 7:55 p.m. Saturday at the Primary Children's Hospital intensive care unit after he was hit by a car in Murray.

The boy was struck by a northbound car about 3 p.m. while crossing a street with an adult female relative at 620 E. 5916 South, said Murray Police Sgt. Craig Burnett. Robbins apparently darted out into the street. The man driving the car, name and address unreleased, said he didn't see the child until it was too late.

Robbins was visiting family in Murray, Burnett said.

- Hulce was killed Thursday when her car rolled over on Idaho 36, three miles north of Dayton in Franklin County.

After her car apparently crossed the highway's center line about 10 p.m., Hulce overcorrected the car and it rolled, partially ejecting her. Rescuers arrived to find Hulce pinned under the car. She died at the scene, an Idaho State Police dispatcher said.
