DEATH: PAT GAMINGASCO

Pat Gamingasco, 74, loving husband, father and friend, died peacefully at home from a courageous battle with cancer.

Born March 17, 1921, in Tooele, Utah, to Anselmo and Lucia Gamingasco. Married Winona Oliver April 7, 1968, in Sandy, Utah.Pat was a veteran of World War II, serving in General Patton's 11th Armored Division. He was awarded the Bronze Star for service above and beyond the call of duty. He worked for Operating Engineers Local Union 3.

He is survived by his wife, Winona of Sandy, Utah; daughter, Patty Johnson of Murray, Utah; son, David (Butch) of Sandy, Utah; stepsons, Ernie Logsdon of Salt Lake City, and Douglas Logsdon of Sandy; Russ Logsdon of Denver, Colo.; a brother, Rome Gamingasco; sisters, Nelly Mark of Murray, Utah; Mary Adams of Idaho Falls, Idaho; and Emily Fenstermaker of Las Vegas, Nev. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 23, 1995, at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy, Utah, at 12 noon. There will be a private family viewing prior to the service. Burial will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
