An Ogden landlord making routine repairs at an apartment Saturday found a bomb in the kitchen.

The bomb was constructed with three portable propane bottles and carbon dioxide cartridges, said Ogden Police detective David Deweloth. "It was your basic light-it-and-run-away bomb. They're easy to make, unfortunately."The bomb appeared to have been manufactured in the central Ogden apartment, said Ogden Police Sgt. Burl Malmborg. The tenants of the apartment, a man and a woman, both 19, said they did not make the bomb.

An investigation is under way, said Malmborg. No arrests have been made.
