WHO WILL TAKE OVER?

President Clinton, interrupting a Wyoming vacation to attend a memorial service for three American diplomats killed in Bosnia, is considering a list of recommended replacements to join American negotiators returning to Europe next week.

The president was making a round trip with first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton on Wednesday to participate in the service at Fort Myer, Va., for Robert Frasure, Joseph Kruzel and Air Force Col. Samuel Nelson Drew. Afterward, an announcement of replacements was expected.Bosnian Foreign Minister Muhamed Sacirbey said U.S. mediators would meet in Paris next week with Bosnian President Alija Izetbegovic. He said the delegation eventually would go to Sarajevo but would hold initial talks in Paris because Izetbegovic would be on a visit there and it was safer.
