A suspicious package led to the evacuation of 40 postal workers in Salt Lake City early Wednesday.
The workers were evacuated for about an hour after the package was found in the lobby of Expo Mart, Salt Lake's downtown post office, 230 W. 200 South at 5:20 a.m.The package had no address and looked suspicious, according to Beverly Burge, customer relations coordinator for Salt Lake post offices.
Police determined the package contained a computer printing cartridge. Burge said the evacuation did not lead to a delay in mail service.
"You can never be too careful," she said.
