DEATH: JOHN D. ADAMS

John D. Adams, age 75, died August 21, 1995 in Price.

He was born December 8, 1919 in Ledwedge, Arkansas, the son of John Henry and Alice Elizabeth Milligan Adams. Married Margarette Findley, February 19, 1938 in Clarksville, Arkansas. Longtime resident of Carbon County. He was a mine manager at Columbine Coal in Scofield, and later he was a supervisor for U.S. Steel, Columbia Mine and Kaiser Steel at Sunnyside.John's recreation was building cabins in Joe's Valley and spending time with his family and friends in the place he loved. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Survived by: wife, Margarette Adams, Price; one son and three daughters and spouses, Bob L. and Barbara Adams, Price; Janet and Charles Hightower, Roswell, New Mexico; Gena and Bob Collins, Riverton; Brenda and Mark Urick, Marietta, Georgia; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; brother, W.E. and Nora Adams; brothers-in-law, George and Jane Findley; Gene and Thelma Findley; K.R. Kelton; sisters-in-law, Nancy and Clarence Casey; Betty and LaSalle Christensen; and Rose Agee. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Thomas Troy and Leroy Adams; and sister, Katie Lowery.

Funeral service Saturday, August 26, 1995, 2 p.m. Mitchell Chapel. Family will be at Mitchell's one hour prior to service. Friends may call Friday and Saturday prior to service. Interment, Price City Cemetery.

John's family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Fred Feuerstein and the nursing staff at Castleview Hospital.
