Al "A.C." Cowlings will reappear with a white Ford Bronco, this time in a paper chase.
Cowlings has agreed to sign almost any souvenir, including pictures of the O.J. Simpson freeway chase, when he appears at the International Sportscard and Memorabilia Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center on Sept. 3. A white Bronco will serve as his backdrop. The autographs will cost from $20 to $25. Cowlings is getting paid a little less than $10,000, said autograph dealer Randall Pollock, one of the sponsors.
Cowlings was driving his white Bronco - and his childhood friend O.J. - during the infamous slow-speed chase five days after Simpson's ex-wife and her friend were slain.
"No pictures of the crime scene, obviously," said Pollock. "You never know what somebody's going to bring up to sign."
