DEATH: DONNA CHRISTIANSEN PERKINS AUSTIN

Our loving mother, sister and aunt, Donna Christiansen Perkins Austin, age 72, passed away Aug. 22, 1995 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born March 13, 1923 in Ogden, Utah to John Glenn and Lydia Ann Christiansen Perkins. Married Alvin Austin April 19, 1941 in Logan, Utah.Their marriage was solemnized June 2, 1965 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Donna enjoyed her music (she had a beautiful singing voice), fishing and camping. She retired from Hill Air Force Base. She worked many years at Welfare Square.

Donna was an active member of the LDS Church where she was a Primary teacher, visiting teacher and member of the ward choir.

Through her long illness, Donna so much appreciated her son, Richard, who was her care-giver, and her nurses and aides. She never complained and was always kind and appreciative. Her unconditional love to everyone will never be forgotten. We love you, Donna.

She is survived by a son, Richard, of Salt Lake City; sisters, Mrs. Harold B. (LaRee) Wise and Mrs. Paul C. (Pat) Jensen of Bountiful; many nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Mrs. Edward (Lapriel) Gittins and Ruth Roach.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 25, in the Hawthorne Ward Chapel, 808 E. Roosevelt Ave. (approx. 1460 So.) at 11 a.m. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East So. Temple, Thursday 6-8 p.m. and at the church, Friday, from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial will be in the Mt. View Memorial Estates Cemetery at 3115 East 7800 So. in Sandy.
