Directions: Starts from the Fish Lake Lodge on the shore of Fish Lake. The lake is reached by taking Highway 24 off I-70 at Siguard, which is south of Salina and north of Richfield. About a three hour drive from Salt Lake City.

Description: Route heads south on a shoreline single track for about four miles to left hand turnoff for Mytoge Mountain Road. Go past stand of aspen and open meadow is remains of old cabin. From there road climbs steeply to top of Mytoge Mountain. Parts of the descent can be tricky, so novice riders may consider walking. Once to highway, find track and follow it for about five miles back to start.

Points of Interest: Beautiful ride through forests and meadows. From top of Mytoge mountain see Boulder Mountain to the west, Monroe Mountain to the east, and past it the 12,000-foot Tushar Range. Across the lake is 11,600 foot Fish Lake Hightop, the highest point on the central Utah plateaus. Nice view of the lake.

Also: Take along the fishing pole. Good fishing in Fish Lake. Food and lodging available lakeside. Especially nice ride in the fall when the leaves are turning. Road to Fish Lake is part of the Utah Scenic Byways system.
