DEATH: JAMES L. (JIM) DEYOE

Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend James Lowell Deyoe, age 83, passed away peacefully August 25, 1995.

Born June 11, 1912 in Ravana, Missouri to Frank and Laura Mae Deyoe. The family moved soon to Lewistown, Montana where Jim grew up on a cattle and sheep ranch. After high school he worked for the Woolworth Company and transferred to Logan, Utah where he met his future beloved wife Doris Cazier of 57 years. They were married in Provo, Utah November 14, 1937. They moved to Salt Lake City where Jim spent 30 years in the insurance business as the owner of Insurance Counselors Inc. and Specialty Sports Inc. Equipment Business for 10 years. He was a member of the L.D.S. Church, the Salt Lake J.C.'s, Lions and Elks Clubs. After selling his business he became a salesman for Ken Garff Auto Sales until his retirement. Jim was an avid golfer, skier and fisherman. He loved gardening but most of all he cherished his family. We will miss his love and guidance.He is survived by his loving wife Doris, three daughters; Loralee (Bob) Loftis, Tamara (Bill) Keller and Jamie Deyoe. Eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren all of Salt Lake City, Utah. He was proceded in death by his parents, two brothers Don B. and Oliver H. Deyoe. Funeral services will be held 12 noon, Wednesday, August 30, 1995 at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 Highland Drive. Friends may call at the mortuary Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm and Wednesday one hour prior to services. Interment at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
