`SISTER' ON TV IS READY TO MAKE MARK IN MOVIES

After six years as a television sister, Sela Ward is ready to be a movie star.

Ward, who won an Emmy last year for her portrayal of Teddy on NBC's "Sisters," says she's leaving after this season to return to films."My contract will be up. It's time for me to move on," the 39-year-old Ward said in the Sept. 2 issue of TV Guide.

The series about four sisters has been great, says Ward, "but films are just creatively more gratifying."
