An argument over money resulted in a stabbing Friday night in Clearfield, leaving one man in the hospital and the other in jail.
Clearfield police reported the suspect went to the home of the victim, Tracy Linger, 29, around 11 p.m. Friday, upset over money that Linger owes him.During the confrontation, Linger was stabbed in the left arm, and the knife blade penetrated into his chest, police said. He was treated at Davis Hospital and then transferred to Ogden Regional Medical Center where he is in stable condition.
Police arrested a suspect about half an hour later and booked him into the Davis County Jail. The incident is still under investigation, police said.
