Lucille Cowan Lunt, age 105, passed away August 26, 1995 in Brigham City, Utah.
She was born November 1, 1889 in Nephi, Utah, to John S. and Elizabeth Condie Cowan. She married Floyd Lunt, June 29, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah; marriage later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.She was active in the LDS Church, serving in many positions. She enjoyed gardening and had a three-quarter acre lot which she kept up herself until she was in her eighties. She loved to do embroidery and crocheting.
Survived by daughter-in-law, Iris Lunt, and a granddaughter, Lynnea Hall, both of Brigham City; two grandsons, Dixon Lunt, of Burlington, Wyoming; Floyd Lunt, of Katy, Texas; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her son, Richard Lunt and husband, Floyd.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, 1995 in the Nephi 2nd Ward Chapel, 222 South 100 East. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church. Burial in the Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, Utah.
