DEATH: EVELYN MCDONALD BOWEN

Evelyn McDonald Bowen, 83, died August 26, 1995 in Salt Lake City.

Born December 29, 1911 in Salt Lake City to Fletcher and Evelyn Violet McDonald. She graduated from LDS High School with the class of 1929. Married Harry John Bowen, December 6, 1934. Evelyn's life in recent years was her family, gardening, and sewing clothes for the homeless.She is survived by loving daughters, Rolene Coulter, Salt Lake; Jeri Nelson (Robert), West Jordan; Vicki Lee Platt (Gary), West Jordan; Janine Morgan (Tony), Sandy; stepdaughters, Betty Stalder (Doug) Pocatello, Idaho; and Donna Doman (Rufus), Montpelier, Idaho; nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband.

The family wishes to express their thanks to Dr. Hugh Voorhees, Dr. Lynn Wilcox, the nursing staff at St. Mark's Hospital, and her home care nurses.

Funeral services Wednesday, August 30, 12 Noon, at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, where friends may call Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to services. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
