SHARE LABOR DAY ACTIVITIES TO RAISE FUNDS FOR SITE

The Wellsville Foundation is sponsoring several activities that will help preserve and restore the Wellsville Tabernacle in conjunction with Labor Day activities:

"The Trial of Tom Sawyer," as dramatized by Virginia G. Koste, will be performed on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 1 and 2, at 8 p.m. in the Wellsville Tabernacle.The original artwork from artists who contributed to the Children's Friend will be displayed in the Evelyn Brench-ley Art Gallery, in the tabernacle, an hour before and after the "Tom Sawyer" performance, during events on Sunday, Sept. 3, and on Monday, Sept. 4, from noon until 5 p.m. The art display is made possible with support from the Utah Arts Council.

There will be an auction in the Wellsville Tabernacle on Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 4, from 1 to 3 p.m. Dean Parker is the auctioneer. There will be a silent auction before and during the live auction. Donations for the auction are being accepted.
