DEATH: JAMES W. BAKER

James William Baker passed away at his home, Thursday, August 3, 1995 of cancer.

He was born in Farmington, Utah, November 30, 1998 to John and Annie Mary Johnson Baker. He married Betty Belle Brown, November 30, 1946 in Evanston, Wyoming, later solemnized in the Bountiful, Utah Temple. Jim spent a year in the CCC Camp at Soapstone and was inducted into the Army, 8th Division, 9th Infantry Div. 60th Infantry Battalion C. Company, where he spent four years in Africa and Italy. After returning home he went to work driving for Interstate Motor Lines, Inland Freight and he retired from Clark Tank Lines.Jim was a member of Teamsters local 222 and an active member of the Retired Teamsters for 15 years where he has held various offices.

Jim is survived by his wife, Betty, son, James Victor, daughter-in-law, Ann Barbara, daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Allen Debenham, and Mona Sue and Larry Ith, all of Salt Lake; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; sister, Viola Macdonald, Salt Lake; brother, John Baker, Richland, Washington. Preceded in death by his parents, sister, Agnes Young, brothers, Sherd and Calvin Baker, two great-grandsons.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 5, 1995 at 11 a.m., Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary Chapel, 295 North Main, where friends may call 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services.

Interment in the Lakeview Cemetery
