Merlin Ray King, 78, died Wednesday, August 2, 1995 at his home in North Logan.
He was born March 31, 1917 in North Logan, the son of Andrew Lewis and Mary Ann Bodrero King. He married Elna Peterson on June 6, 1941 in the Logan Temple.He is survived by his wife of North Logan; a son, M. Kent and Sheila King, Fruit Heights; two daughters, Nyla Rae and Gerald Gregory, Draper; Karen and Arthur D. Cox, Highland; a daughter-in-law, Pamela and Val Morris, West Valley; he has 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; a son, Sam Lewis and grandson, Curtis Rex Gregory preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, August 7, 1995 in the North Logan Tenth Ward Chapel, 1550 East 1900 North in North Logan with Bishop Lynne A. Pettit conducting. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Cranney Mortuary, 420 East 1800 North and at the church Monday morning from 10:30 a.m. until time of services. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
