DEATH: LILLIAN PYLE

Lillian Pyle, a woman who gave a great deal of love to her family, friends and animals, passed away at her West Jordan home August 5, 1995. She was 69.

Lillian was born in Omaha, Illinois, September 23, 1925 to Robert and Mary Utley. She married Elmo Pyle October 25, 1942. They moved to Salt Lake City in 1952. Since 1989 she and Elmo have enjoyed their second home at Harrisburg, near St. George, Utah. Lillian enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening. She expressed her love for animals through the great care she took of her horses and dogs, most recently, her poodle, Rosie.Survivors include Elmo; daughters, Darlynn Peck and Cindy Brocklebank, South Jordan; and Lori Pyle, Pocatello, Idaho. Four grandchildren, brother, Lee Utley, Madisonville, Kentucky, a sister, Ruth Safar of Midland, Georgia.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 8, 1995 at 11 a.m. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4100 South 4400 West. In lieu of flowers Lillian's family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Funeral Directors, Broomhead Funeral Home.
