Lynn Clark Callister has been named associate dean for curriculum in the Brigham Young University College of Nursing.
Her appointment, effective July 1, was announced by Dean Sandra Rogers. She replaces Lee Duke.Callister received her bachelor's degree from BYU, her master's degree from Wichita State University and her doctorate from the University of Utah.
She has given many lectures, workshops and conferences on issues related to women and childbirth. She was the 1995 recipient of the BYU College of Nursing Student Award for Excellence in Teaching, and also received the 1994 Utah Nurses Association Excellence in Nursing Award as well as the 1994 National Excellence in Education Award from the Association of Women's Health Obstetrics and Neonatal Nursing.
