Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Alonzo "Lonnie" Jacobson, 83, returned to his Father in Heaven on Monday, August 7, 1995.

Born in Upton, Utah on May 22, 1912 to Peter and Eva Clark Jacobson. On May 31, 1933 he married Mary Ruth Williams in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.He was a farmer, operator of the Black Hawk Coal Mine, construction worker and retired after 20 years of service at Ideal Cement Co. in Devil's Slide. He had also served as watermaster for 20 years. He was a member of the LDS Church where he held many positions.

Surviving are his wife, Mary; two sons, Roy (Ann); and Kenneth (Beth), both of Upton; one daughter, Marlene (Bill) Brown, Pilot Rock, Oregon; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; four sisters, Eva, Erma, Shirley, and Myrla, and one brother, Gale. He was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 10, 1995 at 12 noon in the Coalville Stake Chapel. Friend may call at the Walker Mortuary in Coalville, Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Interment, Upton Cemetery.
