Our beloved son, brother and uncle, Matthew Clark Waite, passed away August 8, 1995, at his home in Salt Lake City.
He was the son of Leonard K. and Irma Annemarie Waite. Matt was born December 10, 1968, in Farmington, New Mexico, and graduated from the American School of Mexico City in 1987. He loved the theater, modeling, traveling and gardening. He was loved by all who came in contact with him and he returned that love. It is said you can tell the kind of man a person is by how he treats animals. Using this standard, Matthew was a kind and gentle man. We will miss the special spirit Matt radiated to all and we will remember what he always said, "The flame that burns half as long, burns twice as bright."
