KSL Radio and Television has appointed four new vice presidents and a director of broadcast production and development. It has also promoted an employee to manager of TV station events and marketing.
Maggie St. Claire has been named vice president of KSL community affairs. She has 14 years of experience in broadcasting and previously worked for KUED. Rod Arquette was appointed vice president of KSL Radio news and programming. He worked for KUTV for six years before joining KSL in 1988.Ray Carter is the new vice president of KSL news services. Carter previously was news director with WHOTV in Des Moines, Iowa, before he joined KSL a year ago. Dan Checkettes has been named vice president of KSL-BYU sales and marketing. A nine-year veteran of KSL marketing, Checkettes also serves as the first vice president of the Utah Advertising Federation.
Doug Miller has been tapped for the job of director of broadcast production and development for KSL Television. He will oversee all locally produced non-news programs and will continue as the outdoor specialist for the KSL news department.
KSL Television has promoted Steve Poulsen to manager of station events and marketing. He has been with KSL for seven years and previously worked as director of marketing and sales development for KSL sales.
