As part of a visit to Brigham Young University to perform in this week's "World of Dance" concerts, two Russian dancers will teach master classes in ballet on Saturday, Sept. 23.

Arcadiy Oronosky and Serge Perkovsky will teach the advanced level master classes from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in 283 Richards Building. The cost is $10 and no preregistration is required.In addition, Kim Lanham, instructor of advanced jazz classes at BYU and a performer with Contemporary Danceworks, will teach an advanced jazz master class at 3:30 p.m. Tuition is also $10.

Oronosky was trained in Kiev and has performed as the Prince in both "Cinderella" and "Snow White," the Sugar Plum Cavalier in "The Nutcracker" and Romeo in "Romeo and Juliet." Perkovsky trained in the Kiev Ballet School and has performed in "Le Cor-saire," "La Bavadere" and "Giselle." Both have toured with the National Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Ukraine and now perform with Ballet El Paso.
