Wilma LaPriel Karren Thomas Greenwood, age 81, of Lehi, died Sept. 20, 1995 at Larsen's Nursing Home.
She was born Jan. 10, 1914 in Lehi, to William and Florence Magnolia Curtis Karren. Married Ethan Darwin Thomas in February, 1930 at Castle Dale, Utah. Marriage later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple. He died Jan. 4, 1940. Married Wilson Greenwood in August, 1944 at Elko, Nevada. He died Nov. 11, 1976.She was a homemaker and member of the LDS Church. She loved horseback riding and fishing. She was an accomplished seamstress and specialized in making drapes. She was active in the Lehi Ladies' Riding Club, "The Equestrians."
Survived by son and daughter, Blaine (Margaret) Thomas, Lehi; Beverly Clark, Gold Run, California; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Blaine W. (Patricia) Karren, Robert Curtis (Carol) Beverly, and Opal Greenwood, all of Lehi; Myrle (Donald) Dippile, Mesquite, Nevada; Leona (E.M.) Wellington, Orem; Thelma Beverly (Guy) Redmond, Monroe; Geraldine Beverly (Alan) Robinson, Pleasant Grove. She was preceeded in death by a son, Darwin DeLoss Thomas.
Funeral Monday, Sept. 25, 1995 at 11 a.m. in the Wing Mortuary Chapel, 118 E. Main, Lehi, where friends may call Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to service. Burial will be in the Lehi City Cemetery.
