Irene Cannon Lloyd, 89, former member of the Relief Society General Board, died in Salt Lake City Sept. 13, 1995. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. Thomas Lloyd, who died in 1983. She served as ward and stake Relief Society president before being called to the general board. Her brother, George I. Cannon, is a former member of the Seventy.
- Nedra Heward Strong, 80, former member of the Primary General Board and matron of the Santiago Chile Temple, died Sept. 13, 1995, in an automobile accident in Salt Lake City. She served with her husband, Arthur, as he presided over the Argentine Mission from 1963-66, and when he was president of the Santiago temple from 1985-88. She served in many other callings including ward Relief Society president. She and her husband were also temple workers.- Lila Bean Walch, 88, former matron of the Hawaii Temple and member of the Young Women and Relief Society general boards, died Sept. 8, 1995, in Burbank, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband, C. Lloyd Walch, who died in 1987. She served with her husband when he was president of the Hawaii Temple from 1971-76. She also served as vice president of the Oregon School Board Association and was an officer of the Oregon State Board of Education.
